Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a 66-year-old mother who passed away on a Taylor Swift-themed cruise after falling overboard.
According to local media outlets, her heartbroken family claims that she was given too much booze to drink, causing her to be severely drunk and fall overboard.
This is why they’re rolling out a lawsuit against the Royal Caribbean Group, regarding the death. Sources shared how the woman went missing after falling overboard on the Allure of the Seas.
She was identified as Dulcie White, who was with her daughter when she all of a sudden disappeared 17 miles off Nassau in the Bahamas. Her body was never found.
Her family says that the main cause was being overserved alcohol, which is something that should have easily been avoided, as cruises have limits on how many drinks a single passenger can be served.
She also had many visible signs of intoxication that included slurred speech, swaying, glassy eyes, and still, the staff served her drinks. Sources claim that she had at least seven glasses in a timespan of just six hours and eight minutes.
Investigations clearly showed that she was on the ship’s unlimited alcoholic beverages package. Despite this, they’re pushing not only for financial compensation but also for change and an end to this ‘all you can drink’ deal, so others don’t have to go through the heartbreak that they’re currently dealing with.
