A disgruntled nightclub patron smashed his vehicle into a crowd outside the venue after getting thrown for being too intoxicated as per the cops.
At least 31 people were reportedly injured in that, including the driver, who is yet to be identified. Sources shared how he accelerated into other revelers while waiting near a taco stand outside The Vermont nightclub in East Hollywood.
Officials shared how it was a totally chaotic scene on Santa Monica Boulevard after the driver rammed his vehicle into the crowd. Many were left injured, and at least three were fighting for their lives, and six more were critically injured.
The driver pulled out of the car and shot, as per the cops. It’s not clear who shot the assailant or who was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Social media footage showed a massive response to that incident, with dozens of firefighters and cops descending on the scene.
The LA Fire Department shared how they treated dozens of people, with more later going to the hospital. A witness shared with NBC News that clubgoers were partying inside when they heard a loud bang, leading them to look outside the chaos on the streets.
