American Airlines was seen paying a heartbreaking tribute on the Tarmac to the plane carrying the remains of the flight crew killed in the tragic Washington DC crash.
The staff of the airlines lined up at the Tarmac in a touching tribute as the body of the beloved flight attendant Ian Epstein returned back to Charlotte following the devastating plane crash that took the lives of 67 people.
The emotional clip was captured through a viral TikTok video and emergency vehicles as well as airport workers were seen gathering around and paying respects.
‘Tonight, the remains of the flight attendant Ian Epstein were received and a water cannon salute was put out for him and his efforts to making sure every person on the flight had a smile on their faces’ – the spokesperson for the airlines shared.
He will now be returned to his loved ones and laid to rest, the caption went on to read. The plane carrying the remains of Epstein touched down at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport just before the clock struck 10 pm on Monday.
The beloved flight attendant was among the four crew members who perished when the jet collided with the Army Black Hawk helicopter above the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport on January 29.
