Supermodel Heidi Klum is proving to the world that she takes her Halloween costumes very seriously.

The star really outdid herself this year with a grand look where she transformed into a monstrous version of Medusa. The star’s husband was right there by her side, showing her support by dressing up in an equally monstrous character as a man turned to stone. This was a very clever nod to the myth in which Medusa’s victims are petrified.

Klum shared how she spent nearly 10 hours in preparation for the transformation and stressed how important the full visual effect is to her yearly Halloween party.

Known for staging some of the most elaborate and viral costumes on a yearly basis, the host really pulled out all the stops with this look. Every year, her party is the one that many do look forward to. Many were expecting a lot from her and she did warn that this was going to be the scariest and ugliest one of them all. Seems like she won in that category.

The snakes running through her hair with extra-long tongues and droolingand  dripping through her mouth, it was as real and creepy as things could get. What do you think?
