This time around, Amber Heard was standing on the witness stand and she could be seen being cross-questioned by Depp’s team of lawyers. But then all of a sudden, footage was shown of actor James Franco entering an elevator with Amber Heard by his side.

The duo was seen getting awfully close with Amber Heard resting her head on his shoulders, not something you’d see a married woman do, mentioned the attorney.

The footage is believed to have been prior to when Amber Heard had filed for divorce and comes amid allegations that Johnny Depp was not a fan of Amber’s co-star and suspected that the duo was having an affair.

Previously, we’ve heard Amber mention that the pair were just good friends. And now, the actress claims that she had invited him over to her apartment despite knowing Johnny Depp was not going to be home for a few days due to his work commitments.

The surveillance footage showed Franco entering the actress’s penthouse apartment which was situated in Los Angeles. The incident is believed to have taken place in 2016 during the later hours of the night, adding more suspicion to the rumors that she may have had feelings for the actor.

But Heard tried to convince the jurors yesterday by mentioning how the 127 hours star was just a close friend and she was the one who called him over to spend some time.

The courtroom also heard how the incident happened one day after she called the police on Johnny Depp, alleging that the actor threw a cellphone across her face, which resulted in her being bruised and showing up with intense swelling. Those images were shown in the courtroom as well.
