The news was shocking for some as he clearly defied a federal order blocking the move and prompting Golden State Governor Gavin Newsom to sue in response to that.

The California governor mentioned in his response that Trump’s deployment of 300 California National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, was an attempt to federalize the Oregon National Guard and to bypass that, he chose to deploy 300 California National Guard personnel into Oregon.

The governor called the move ‘un-American’ and said that the troops were on the way right now. Therefore, he added that the matter would be dealt with in court, and the public shouldn’t stay silent for too long on this.

The fiery threat came just hours after a federal judge temporarily halted the Trump administration from sending 200 Oregon National Guard troops to the war-ravaged city that has been under siege by anti-ICE agitators for more than 100 nights in a row.
