A Ukrainian couple tied the knot as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces continue to attack Kyiv.
Members of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces, Roman and Ksenia, were photographed exchanging vows and sharing a kiss.
Roman wore his camouflage army garbs while Ksenia stood alongside him wearing a white shirt while holding a boquet of white and red roses.
This is not the first wedding recorded since the start of the invasion.
On March 13, a couple also got married before taking on Russian soldiers in the outskirts of the Ukraine capital.
The two, who met seven years ago during the war in Dobas, were pictured at the ceremony held in a Brovary hospital.
Their relationship started when they met by chance during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“There is a hard time ahead of us, so we decided to do it now,” the bride said. Their names are not disclosed due to security reasons.
Earlier this month, the mayor of Kyiv visited another newlywed who tied the knot on the front lines, both wearing their military uniforms as fellow soldiers serenaded them.
Video posted online showed the couple, Valeriy and Lesya, who are members of the territorial defense, celebrating their big day near the capital.
Former champion boxer Vitali Klitschko, who offered Lesya and Valeriy his blessings, took to Twitter and shared a video of the ceremony.
The clip shows the happy couple holding flowers as other soldiers should ‘Glory to Ukraine!’
Lesya could be seen holding a bouquet of pink roses as they clutched champagne flutes.
The video was also shared by Paul Ronzheimer, a German reporter for news outlet BILD-Zeitung.
