Actor Kevin Costner and wife Christine Baumgartner have ended up settling their brutal divorce battle and it’s been a long time coming.
The stars have been battling it out in the public eye for quite some time now.
As reported by TMZ during the early hours of Tuesday, the model was seen signing off on a three-page settlement agreement after one judge informed her that the prenuptial agreement would now be enforced.
As a result of this, Christine added how she would be paying the costs linked to Costner more than anyone else and that meant the attorney fees would need to be included so as to fight this agreement.
Moreover, details from the settlement are currently unknown but the media outlet did mention how Christine’s request for $850k in legal fees is out the window as it won’t be accepted or debated further.
But other details from insiders claim she will be getting more funds than were outlined at the start of this particular prenup.
Moreover, Christine and Kevin are now in agreement on a resolution of the issues related to the proceedings of the divorce. This is where the exes were sharing the ordeal through a joint statement that was rolled out to Page Six.
The 49-year-old Baumgartner filed for divorce from the star in May of this year after spending 18 long years of marriage. And this was not the news that many fans were expecting by miles.
The pair share three children together. Moreover, the divorce slowly became more acrimonious when the top handbag designer ordered several items and money from the star including a whopping figure of $250k for child support.
But Costner felt this was done to cover her expenses linked to plastic surgery. After getting less than half of that in a new court decision, Christine vowed to get back to work to help pay her bills because this was not going to cut it.
