Tragic reports have confirmed the death of several people after two helicopters collided in Finland.
The incident arose during the later hours of Saturday when the helicopters carrying a total of five people collided mid-air.
The police confirmed that five people were killed as a result of this incident when both helicopters collided and crashed into the wooded area near Eura Airport in the southwestern part of Finland.
Police shared more about how the collision arose shortly after noon near the town of Kauttua, and the wreckage fell some 700 meters from the Ohikulkutie road.
The cops added that both helicopters were registered outside the country.
An emergency call reported the collision to the police at about 12:35 pm local time.
The first responders did arrive quickly, but all the passengers were declared dead at the scene. Investigations are taking place to determine the exact cause of the crash.
