A Crossfit coach has left tragically left this world while making attempts to save his wife from drowning.

According to reports from local media outlets, the coach reportedly drowned after saving his wife from a dangerous rip current. But little did he know that he would be killed along the way.

Many claim the individual sacrificed his own life for his wife and that just showed how loving and caring he was toward all of those around him.

Damian Walker worked as a beloved CrossFit trainer who helped people get into shape. He and his family happened to be visiting Puerto Rico in March but little did he or anyone else know that this would be his final trip.

Now, a GoFundMe has been started in his honor and it described him as the man that lit a fire in so many people.

Meanwhile, the CrossFit community website mentioned how he was a man that loved, lived, and breathed this place and the community. “His spark was like wildfire and it was adored by a lot of people”- the page explained.

What happens to be even more tragic is how the 33-year-old supposedly came to Puerto Rico to spread his dad’s ashes across the ocean.

But during that ceremony, his wife was caught in the middle of a giant rip current. Without even giving the entire ordeal a second thought, he just jumped in quickly and left the entire crowd stunned.

“He was a man that adored adventure and was fearless. He lived life with the 100% hero mentality”- sources were quick to mention.

What is even more tragic about this incident is how his father also jumped in the water to save him. But they both drowned together as that’s how strong the tide happened to be.
