The Ukrainian port city of Mariupol has nearly been destroyed completely by Russian military strikes, confirmed the city’s mayor recently.
With constant bombardment and airstrikes since the war began, sources revealed how the current situation of the city is simply not looking great.
Moreover, other reports from local media outlets spoke about a fresh wave of destruction taking center stage at the moment, where at least eight others had been killed.
The brutal nature of the violence isn’t coming slow, confirmed the city’s mayor who says it’s beyond shocking to see the state of his city in absolute ruins.
Mayor Vadym Bolchenko explained via a public statement how the city is unrecognizable and it’s amazing to see constant bombardment continuing and leading to the massive widespread destruction that’s totally unrecoverable.
Today, the mayor appeared live for a recent press conference addressing the incident, adding how nearly 130,000 people continued to remain trapped in the city’s ruins.
“It’s the shocking bombing campaigns and ground attacks that have caused great destruction amongst the land that many believe is now similar to being reduced to rubble”- he continued.
Russian forces continued to bombard areas densely populated by civilians over the past weekend. And that resulted in at least 34 people being wounded.
But intelligence reports are now being generated that speak of the great Russian loss in the war.
Yes, Russians have also incurred a massive loss where the army suffered a massive blow to its cavalry.
But it fails to be recognized by the Russians, who continue to live in the false deception that only 1300 soldiers have been killed since the war began.Ukraine says the current death toll of Russian soldiers stands at 18,300 after the unit suffered a huge hit while trying to move forward in Kyiv but was stopped.
