The celeb says that plenty of rumors took center stage in the industry about her divorce from Will and that allowed many men to come to her and ask her if they had a chance of getting with her.
This includes comedian-actor Chris Rock, the star mentioned.
“He just came up to me and told me he wanted to go out on a date with me. And I quickly stared at his face and said, Chris, what do you mean? He thought Will and I were not together, I had to give him a reality check that those were just rumors”- The Nutty Professor star mentioned.
The 52-year-old actress has been up to no good these days as her shocking bombshells come at a time when she’s out and about on her promotional tour for the upcoming memoir. Moreover, this included plenty of news about her and Will being separated for the past seven years and pretending to be a couple.
“Chris called me up one night in summer to literally shoot his shot”- she adds. And that was way before the whole terrifying Oscar slap ordeal, she continued. Obviously, the star said no but it did take her by a huge surprise, she continued.
Every summer season, reports used to come regarding her and Will getting a divorce. And in this particular summertime, he honestly thought that the pair was attaining a divorce.
Therefore, he called her up and after hearing her answer, he was stunned. And for that, he kept on apologizing and she added how that was that.
