Tyler Robinson appeared to confess to murdering Charlie Kirk in a chilling new text message exchange that was shared with his trans lover, just hours after allegedly carrying out the assassination.
This includes him leaving a hidden note that confessed to the plot, prosecutors revealed. Less than three hours after the killing on September 10, the 22-year-old explained to his live-in partner that he had been planning this shooting for a week, as per the indictment filed on Tuesday.
He messaged Twisggs to drop everything that she’s doing and look under his keyboard after shooting Kirk from a rooftop at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
Twiggs then found a note from Robinson that went on to read: “I had the chance to take out Charlie Kirk and I am going to take that’- as per the indictment. Robinson was charged on Tuesday with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and causing serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice – these are three of the seven total counts.
This exchange goes on to allege that Twiggs knew all about Tyler’s alleged role in the assassination more than 24 hours before he was caught.
Twiggs, whom authorities described as a male transitioning into a female, immediately texted Robinson asking if it was some kind of sick joke. Robinson wrote back: “I am still ok, my love, but am stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest, I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you!”
