Sources from local media outlets were quick to mention how the 12-year-old was stabbed by two other girls that were reportedly her classmates. And since they were both below the age of 12, they would not stand a chance of being prosecuted.

This stems from the fact that Germany’s minimal age for prosecution is 14 years and older. Hence, these suspects are just too young and won’t be charged with the crime.
