You may have come across many kinds of parental abuse but this next story happens to be in a league of its own.
One mother has left the world stunned after she chose to pretend that her daughter was suffering from cancer.
Sources from local media outlets claim the mom came up with the shocking and highly disturbing behavior to try and get as many donations as possible for her child.
People were just baffled as to the grave extent that a parent could go to so her plan of deception continued for months before she was finally caught.
The poor baby was said to be subjected to various types of invasive medical procedures. Her mom did everything to make the child seem like she was unwell including shaving her head routinely to gain more sympathy.
When out in public, people used to ask what was wrong, and her fabricated lies about acute Myeloid Leukemia had people talking for obvious reasons.
The woman who goes by the name Pamela Reed says her daughter was seven and while she did manage to rake in plenty of money with the lies, she was caught by the school’s nurse who found out about the matter before anyone else. On that account, she was charged with theft by deception.

She claimed the child suffered from severe seizures and needed a port for her cancer treatments and that made more people donate as they felt her pain and sympathized over the matter.point 152 | 1
The sheriff’s office also added that the child didn’t have cancer after they carried out their investigations.
