BREAKING: Eddie Murphy Agrees To Pay His Ex Mel B $35,000 In Monthly Child Support For Their Teenage Daughter


Eddie Murphy has agreed to pay his ex-partner Mel B a whopping $35,000 in regard to monthly child support after the Spice Girl was seen filing court documents that requested more financial assistance.

The news comes in regard to the former couple’s 15-year-old daughter. But the struggle has been real because the documents were filed nearly two years back and the result of it is finally coming into play now.

The court documents were recently obtained by Daily Mail and they showed how the duo has agreed to the new terms and conditions outlined with Murphy paying the extra amount after Mel B cited a change in her income amount.

In the past, the 61-year-old celeb was seen offering just $25,000 in child support for his daughter which the Spice Girl felt was not enough. It was nearly $300,000 a year and that was decided at a time when the couple went through a messy divorce battle, which was finally settled in the year 2009.

The new agreement has been drastically modified in favor of the child’s mother on August 17 as confirmed by the comedian and actor, In those court papers, the celeb is outlined as being an ‘extraordinary earner’ and for that reason, should be sending more money for his own child that he shares with the Spice Girl.

The payments were reportedly told to be made in a retroactive manner starting October 2021 and will continue until their daughter named Angel Iris Murphy Brown turns 18.

In the same way, it was revealed that the comedian would also be paying Brown’s attorney fees which comprise $10,000.

The parties have reportedly agreed that Murphy is a high earner and should be paying way more than what was decided at the start of the paternity agreement.

And all of the associated costs have been calculated based on the reasonable needs of any minor child, sources have confirmed.
