Actor Kevin Costner has reportedly increased his payments for child support of his kids after his estranged wife made some ridiculous demands through her legal team.
But if you think that was enough to make her happy, well, think again. She’s still arguing about how it’s not enough and accusing the A-List star of keeping his kids in dire conditions, far below the living standards that they’re used to.
The shocking and very public and ugly divorce that’s taking place between the couple has got some people in shock. What in the world is going on?
His wife’s lawyers contacted the star’s team to talk about the child support payments not being at par and that a raise was necessary to accommodate the children’s expenses. So as you can imagine, that did not make the actor happy who publicly mentioned how it probably wasn’t suitable as it failed to cover her plastic surgery costs.
The team replied by adding that the actor seems to want to force his kids to live a lifestyle that is far below the economic circumstances that he’s been living.
And it might be a sort of punishment when they happen to be with his mother, added another source.
As expected, the news was not loved by the star. And he had filed new court documents in the court to force his estranged wife from leaving his mega 145 million dollar mansion by this month and that was approved.
But Costner also ended up upping the payments for child support and despite him taking such a decision, his wife Christine was not happy. She felt the figure was still too low.
She not only requested a staggering $248,000 per month in terms of the payments for all three children but also asked for more money to cover health care, tuition, and expenses linked to extra-curricular activities.
