Tragic reports about a plane crash that took place yesterday night in the residential area of Philadelphia are revealing more heartbreaking details about the incident.
The crash involved an air ambulance that was carrying six people including a young girl, her escort, and four crew members.
The incident gave rise to chaotic scenes on the ground. The Learjet 55 departed from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport on Friday evening and was said to be traveling to the Springfield Branson National Airport in Missouri.
This is right before it lost all control, shortly after taking off.
Doorbell footage saw the jet hurtling to the ground, right before it exploded into a giant fireball after less than 60 seconds into the air.
The FAA did confirm more details about how there were six people onboard that jet. It’s not clear if they managed to eject or were able to escape.
In the initial statement released by the FAA, there were only two people declared to be onboard the plane but that slowly changed to six.
The jet was being operated by the Jet Rescue Air Ambulance and as per a statement from the company, a young girl was getting transported who was receiving life saving treatment.
Four crew members were also there on the flight, alongside the child’s mother. They were all believed to be returning back home to Mexico.
