Tragic reports are speaking about authorities in Ohio who mentioned how a pit bull fatally attacked a one-year-old girl last week.
As per the County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the residence on Lake Road regarding the dog attack just before 6 pm.
In the initial 911 call that was made, dispatchers could not hear anyone, but they did end up connecting with the mother during the second call. This is where the parent confirmed that the family dog killed the baby.
Deputies rushed to the scene to find the baby covered in bites to the face and throat. The little victim was identified as Blakely Blosser. Her joyful essence shone the brightest when she was out playing with her sibling. The bond they had was not only pure but one based on love, laughter, and moments of joy.
The family says those memories will forever live in their hearts as they continue to mourn the little one.
Authorities claimed she was pronounced dead at the scene. ‘It was a terrible ordeal that we came across in a long time. They also shared how there were some defensive wounds on the mother, who reportedly tried her best to stop the attack. The dog did not have any history of attacking anyone, but ended up showing signs of aggression to other dogs nearby in the recent past.
