Cher is reportedly dating a music producer forty years her junior.
The 76-year-old singer, actress, and pop icon has confirmed rumors saying she is in a relationship with Alexander Edwards, 36, who treats her “like a queen.”
Speaking of their 40-year age gap, the singer insisted that “love doesn’t know math” and that what she and Edwards have is real.
The confirmation comes days after the two lovebirds were spotted holding hands while walking side by side at a restaurant in Hollywood.
At one point, Edwards was seen gently kissing the singer’s hand while giving her all of his attention when they were in a car. He also seemed to warn her to watch her step when the two passed a curb outside the restaurant.
While plenty of fans congratulated the singer on her new relationship, some voiced their concerns and warned her about the music producer’s past.
Edwards previously dated Amber Rose, a model and TV personality who dated Kanye West for three years from 2018 to 2021, and admitted cheating on her during the duration of their relationship.
“I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes,” the model wrote in one of her Instagram stories after allegedly catching her man cheating on her with multiple partners.
“All 12 of y’all bums (The ones that I know of there’s probably more) can have him. Y’all very much knew he was in a relationship with a baby and y’all decided to f**k him anyway.”
Shrugging off her fans’ concerns, Cher simply responded by saying that she is “in love” but “not blinded by it.”
