JUST IN: Cher Will Release Her FIRST Christmas Album Ever


Cher is set to release her first-ever Christmas album, the singer herself confirmed.

The 77-year-old If I Could Turn Back Time hitmaker has shared artwork to mark the good news of her Christmas album’s impending release.

“Are you spending Christmas with me?” she wrote as she teased her 4 million followers on Instagram with the album’s cover photo.

The announcement took the internet by storm with thrilled fans saying they couldn’t wait for Cher to release her album just in time for the festive season.

“Mariah better watch out!! Cher is gonna take over Christmas!!” one user wrote.

“A new Queen of Christmas in the making? I’m excited to see how this one turns out!” another said.

A third joked: “Take a seat Mariah! @cher is coming for CHRISTMAS!!!”

Meanwhile, Cher opened up about her new album on Twitter as she admitted it will include rare duets while saying she was really proud of her work.

“I really am proud of this. It’s a Cher Christmas album. It’s not your mother’s Christmas album,” the singer expressed.

“I’m really, really excited because there’s millions of people on it! I’ve never had duets! I’ve never had people on any of my records! This was a last-minute thing… but they’re special. All of them.”

Elsewhere in her interview with Good Morning Britain, the legendary songwriter also opened up about her youthful appearance and nature.

“I can’t believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish. And I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair,” she said.

“Genes in my family are pretty amazing. I don’t know if not feeling old makes you younger. I’m not sure. I keep up with the trends and I have lots of young friends. I have old friends too. Honestly, I’m not trying to feel young, I’m not trying to be young, I am what I am, whatever that means.”
