French President Emannuel Macron seems to be making headlines for all the wrong reasons recently.
This time around, he was caught giving the Princess of Wales a cheeky wink after clinking glasses with the royal during the star-studded state banquet.
Macron and his wife Brigette are on a state tour where they were joined by the likes of Mick Jagger and Elton John in the glittering event held at Windsor Castle.
King Charles and Queen Camilla’s party kicked off with Macron’s three-day visit to the UK.
Making their glamorous entrance, the Prince and Princess of Wales were seen among other members of the British royal family who were also in attendance.
The future Queen appeared elegant as ever in her dark red silk creponne evening gown. This included the finest cape back detailing that was designed by Sarah Burton for Givenchy.
Many couldn’t help but wonder why the wink was given in the first place, as others made fun of the French head of state for behaving awkwardly and being caught in the act for millions to see.
The news comes just moments after he was snubbed by his own wife while climbing down the stairs of their airplane.
