Love and relationships are already so difficult to deal with but what happens when your family members end up turning on you?
A 27-year-old male has recently raised the curtain on his own dad’s shocking actions and this includes how mortified he was to learn that his father ended up having an affair with the woman that he was supposed to get engaged to.
As daunting as that may sound to some, the young man explained how betrayed he felt and just couldn’t look at his lover or his father in the eyes because it was that bad.
“My dad did everything to try and conceal the truth. But it eventually came out. This was the partner that I was supposed to marry. I’m just in a state of shock and denial”- he further mentioned.
The story is very similar to one that would probably come across as fiction.
Moreover, it’s also so bad to be true and the incident has not only ruined this man’s ties with his family but also his finances. And if that was not haunting enough, he claims his father was so shameful that he accepted the reality and even explained how his lover was too hot to be true and found it hard to resist.
Now, the man says he’s having trouble continuing with this relationship and feels perhaps he should end it.
“I loved this woman so much but it’s amazing how she just backstabbed me without thinking. I honestly do not have words. I don’t know if I can continue with this!”- he added.
The traumatic experience has also left his mom and dad at opposite ends. And the only place he feels he can vent his feelings is on social media. Hence, what advice would you give him as he thinks he’s helpless?
