Cara Delevingne, who is a big fan of pop superstar Rihanna, has spoken out about the singer’s showtime performance at Superbowl 57.
The 30-year-old English actress appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden this Monday to share praise for her idol while promoting her new series.
Speaking about the Sunday halftime show, which was viewed several million more times than Super Bowl itself, Cara admitted she was overwhelmed with positive emotions that made her break into tears as a result.
“So fun though. I felt so grateful to be there and I’ve seen her play a lot of times, but it just felt so historical and amazing. I felt so proud. I cried,” she said.
The Carnival Row star also expressed her gratitude for being able to attend the show in person and having an “out of body experience.”
Meanwhile, Corden brought up a picture of the hilarious T-shirt Cara wore to the Super Bowl. “Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game, weird but whatever,” the shirt read.
Elsewhere in the interview, Cara also opened up about her new Hulu documentary called Planet S*x in which the actress “explores questions about human s*xuality.”
“I thought I was a pretty open person who knew a lot about these subjects myself and I realized I didn’t. I wanted to discover a lot but I also wanted to make this show kind of take the stigma away to talk about these subjects,” the Life in a Year star added.
“I love meeting people and in other cultures especially how that differs in terms of religion and age, and it was amazing,” she continued as she admitted making the show was both an emotional as well as funny journey.
