A grandmother has passed away after she was involved in a car accident.
According to reports from local media outlets, she passed away while returning home from visiting her infant grandson, according to her family.
Police shared more details about how the fatal crash took place at the intersection of Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Robinson Drive at about 4:15 pm.
Two people passed away at the scene of the crash, as per a statement shared by the South Fulton Police Department. One of the two victims was identified by the family as a 76-year-old named Nancy Lee Veas, as per the report.
Ameera Joe explained to the news station how her mother was returning home after visiting the 1 month old grandson when she was involved in the collision.
‘She never put that baby down, this whole time’- her son shared.
He also mentioned that she loved children so much and just wanted to hold them all the time. Whether it was her own kids’ children or others. Her husband also shared more about her love for kids and how she was the kindest to them and enjoyed getting a glimpse of them.
