The issue has reportedly turned into a mega-online debate that involves the likes of Jeremy Vine and Sajid Javid.

The footage featured the boy cycling along the streets in Kingston which is situated in the southwestern part of London. And that’s when all of a sudden, a car approaches from the opposite direction. It thankfully passes without making an incident but it was a close call.

For those who may not be aware, Vine is reportedly a very famous cycling advocate. He made it a point to take to his account on Twitter and slam the motorist for refusing to go ‘dead slow’ in an area that is known for cyclists.

“Anyone that disagreed with this really needs to have their license cut up”- he continued.

After all of this, an entire row on social media was sparked and the journalist could be seen sending out another Tweet. “Take a look at this clip of a 5-year-old child riding his bike around. He is getting recorded by his father from behind. And you can even see how close the car has approached the child from behind”- he adds.

And that’s when he asked whose fault is it, the driver’s fault or is it the dad’s fault for putting the child’s life at risk.

While there was a mixed bag of reviews or opinions, one thing is for sure. The majority felt that drivers should have enough civic sense in them to drive slowly in places known for bikers as speed may thrill some but kills others. Do you agree?
