For her parents, it was just so hard to take it all in. They could not even begin to imagine what the outcome would be. The fact that cancer tends to spread fast as it lies in the soft tissue meant her chances of survival were slim.
And we’re talking up to just 20%. “It was heartbreaking to see my parents hear this. But I was determined to beat this, no matter what”- she explained.
And that’s exactly what she did. She underwent all the treatment, from radiotherapy to chemo, it was so painful physically and emotionally. But she did it.
Her parents explained how their young daughter was running for a charity event and she suddenly collapsed. Doctors found a tumor on her buttocks and that was cancer. But in 2017, she was declared cancer free, and for her and her loved ones, it was the biggest blessing and miracle of all time.
