Attorney Camille Vasquez admitted she’s a fan of Johnny Depp and his music as she was flanked by reporters outside NBC studios in New York City.
On Wednesday, the aspiring attorney, who rose to fame thanks to her forensic cross-examination of Amber Heard, was surrounded by reporters as she left NBC studios following an interview for Today Show.
In her interview, Vasquez opened up about the blockbuster Depp-Heard trial and hit back at Heard’s lawyers who called the trial unfair.
She was later seen beaming outside the building where she admitted she was a fan of Johnny’s music. The Pirates of the Caribbean star is currently performing in the UK as part of his tour with Jeff Beck.
“Yes. Yes, of course we are!” the attorney proudly said after being asked if she’s a fan of her client’s music.
According to DailyMail.com, Vasquez also posed for photos of her admirers and revealed that she plans on seeing Depp again.
The news comes shortly after Brown Rudnick law firm revealed that Vasquez has been promoted from associate to partner thanks to her excellent performance in the trial.
“Congratulations to newly promoted partner Camille Vasquez,” the law firm announced.
“Vasquez was a key member of the litigation team that won a jury verdict on June 1, 2022 for actor Johnny Depp in his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.”
Following her promotion, Vasquez thanked the company for trusting in her and giving her the opportunity to work on the case.
“I am delighted that Brown Rudnick has given me its full vote of confidence by having me join the partnership,” she said.
“I’m proud of the uniquely talented team I’ve had the privilege to lead, which exemplified teamwork and collaboration, and I look forward to continuing to represent Brown Rudnick’s culture of excellence.”
