King Charles and Queen Camilla’s state visit to Italy just kicked off with a special photo shoot to mark the 20th wedding anniversary.
The royal duo will be celebrating their milestone on April 9 during their trip abroad, and two new images were shared on April 7 to mark the special occasion.
The new snaps were taken on the first day in Italy, which were shot at the Villa Wolkonsky in Rome, next to the Neronian spur of the Aqua Claudia.
The photographer for the regal event was Chris Jackson. These stunning outdoor clicks feature the couple smiling, and also Camilla is seen donning a white and beige coat dress by designer Anna Valentine and a lily of the valley brooch.
King Charles and Queen Camilla also shared a private message with the new click, and it was captioned with, ‘As we begin our first visit to Italy as King and Queen, we are so looking forward to celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in such a special location.
And with such wonderful people by our side! A presto, Roma e Ravenna!’- the message read.
The duo also signed a heartfelt note as Charles R and Camilla R. The R here stood for Latin terms King or Rex and Queen or Regina.
