JK Rowling today led calls for Olympic boxer Imane Khelif to get stripped of her gold medal after leaked medical reports appeared to indicate how the controversial champion is a biological male.
The alleged medical test on Khelif from the 2023 World Championships comes less than two days after World Boxing ruled the star as someone who needed to undergo gender screening.
This was necessary for Imane to be eligible for competitions in the future in female events.
JK Rowling mentioned how this news and the report leaking out were a huge win for women around the globe, adding that it’s about time she got canceled.
The 26-year-old star won a women’s boxing gold medal representing Algeria at last year’s Paris Games.
Khelif was said to be eligible to compete in France despite World Boxing having known about the 2023 more than a year previous knowledge regarding the test.
