“We wanted to give her options and me and my dad’s favorite singers are Lou = Louie Armstrong, Etta = Etta James, Isley = Isley Brothers.”

During her Tuesday morning Q&A session on Instagram, Rumer also opened up about motherhood and admitted she wanted five or six kids in the future.

“Every moment with her is amazing, but when she smiles at me it’s the best feeling in the world,” she said.

The heartwarming reveal comes nearly two years after Bruce’s family announced the actor was diagnosed with aphasia. Since then, the condition has progressed into frontotemporal dementia, a condition that results in behavioral changes, issues with communication, lack of judgment, and loss of interpersonal skills.

More recently, Moonlighting creator Glenn Gordon Caron, who is also a close friend of the Die Hard star, told PageSix that the 68-year-old was no longer fully verbal.

“My sense is the first one to three minutes he knows who I am. He’s not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader – he didn’t want anyone to know that – and he’s not reading now,” he said.

“When you’re with him you know that he’s Bruce and you’re grateful that he’s there, but the joie de vivre is gone.”
