The bizarre compliment was not taken well at all with many resorting to social media to bash the First Lady. Now, there are reports that she was forced to apologize for many ‘misinterpreting’ her comments and also how she didn’t mean to hurt the sentiments of so many people.

The comment was a part of the speech and it’s not clear if it was written as a part of the script or one that came out of Biden’s mouth during that time.
