Passengers Break Bones While Trying To Flee ‘Burning Plane’ By Jumping From Wing in Terrifying ‘False Alarm’ Incident


A false alarm aboard a Ryan Air flight had left passengers in a distressed state after a crew member was seen asking them to evacuate the plane immediately due to an emergency.

Several passengers were left with broken bones after speculations about a fire onboard grew and created major panic.

Passengers were seen screaming while jumping from the plane’s wing, as shared by witnesses, as they feared for their lives.

The plane was said to be flying from Palma de Mallorca Airport to Manchester on Friday night.

18 people were said to have been injured in the incident, with at least two of them being from the UK who reported with broken bones.

The operator for the airline shared how the fire alert was a false alarm and claimed that the passengers were trying to disembark through inflatable slides, despite video footage clearly showing that they were jumping off from the plane’s wing in a state of panic to escape quicker.

Emergency services were called to the scene at nearly 12:35 am, and six people were rushed to a nearby hospital, as shared by the authorities.

Another 57-year-old mother shared how she broke her ankle in three separate places and now must undergo surgery,y while another mentioned fracturing her wrist, foot, and elbow. More investigations are taking place to determine what it was that made this kind of false alarm arise in the first place.
