Jon Bon Jovi has reacted to his son’s engagement at a young age with words of wisdom.
Last month, 20-year-old actor and model Jake Bon Jovi sparked a social media frenzy after proposing to his girlfriend, 19-year-old Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
Marking their engagement, the young couple shared a photo showing them embracing each other as the Enola Holmes actress showed off her diamond ring which is said to be worth up to $150,000.
In response to the news, fans couldn’t help but contain their joy and happiness over the pair’s decision to take their relationship to the next level.
Now, legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi also reacted to his son’s engagement and seemingly voiced his support by expressing hopes that the young lovers build up their relationship by growing together.
“I don’t know if age matters. If you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise,” the rocker said.
Speaking out on Cohen’s Radio Andy, the ‘It’s My Life’ hitmaker added: “I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with and we like ‘em all.”
Jon Bon Jovi shares four children – Romeo, 19, Jake, 20, Jesse, 28, and Stephanie, 29 – with Dorothea Hurley whom he has been married to for 34 years after the pair secretly tied the knot at Las Vegas’ Graceland Wedding Chapel back in 1989.
Congratulations to Jake and Millie on their engagement!
