Leading female comedian Amy Schumer is being blasted online for claiming she’s the most successful comedian of all time.
The news comes just days after we saw her being blasted for making fun of Nicole Kidman, for which she issued a public apology. And if that was not enough, her recent statements regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict are another point worth pondering.
Many have dubbed her as a self-centered individual when her latest statement revolved around the theme of the star considering herself to be the world’s most successful female comedian. But in case she needed a reality check, plenty of critics rushed to her side to give her just that.
Schumer mentioned how she is very keen on the belief that as the most successful comedian in the female category, she knows exactly what she’s talking about and those who continue to bash her, hate her for no reason.
The standup comic also took the time to include a long list of text-based images for her Instagram account that clarified her stance regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
At the moment, she’s super vocal about it and the concerns that come about the conflict, ever since Hamas carried out a brutal attack on the country in October.
Moreover, her feed happens to be full of all kinds of updates as well as messages regarding support for the entire Jewish community while condemning the acts of Hamas. And that is what was required to spark a new war featuring words in the comments section and since then, she ended up taking a stance against haters.
To avoid further escalation of the matter, she’s opted to turn her comments section on but after a brief pause from social media, she is back again and wants everyone to know that.
