A former college student from Florida is breaking her silence after facing jail time after she took her newborn baby’s life.
The suspect was identified as Brianna Moore, who would be facing trial soon after her newborn was found dead inside the trash bin. The teen did admit to this crime, but at the time, she says that she had no other choice.
Now that she is on trial, more insights are coming to light, including how she’s denying she knew anything regarding the pharmacy, but a text conversation proves otherwise.
The teen was arrested inside her home state of Mississippi in 2024 and extradited to Hillsborough County in Florida. This had to do with charges linked to aggravated manslaughter of a child, as well as child neglect with major bodily harm.
Moore similarly faces charges of storing human remains unlawfully, preserving them, and even transporting them.
Failure to report the death to the medical examiner is another serious crime she engaged in. As per a new statement, the teen mother gave birth to the child inside the bathroom of her University of Tampa dorm room, which again was shocking to many.
