Singer Billy Joel was seen suffering from a scary fall on stage, nearly two months before medical issues forced him to postpone his current tour.
In a new statement published on Tuesday, the music icon can be seen revealing how his tour was rescheduled for the next four months as he’s forced to undergo a sudden surgery.
Weeks before, he sparked serious concerns after taking that terrifying fall on stage at the Mohegan Sun Resort that’s located in Connecticut.
He happened to be singing the ‘It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me’ song while he spun his microphone stand around in different directions.
As the song started to wrap up, the star flung the equipment against the stage, but that motion ended up causing to tumble down on the ground.
Joel’s right arm jerked back before he dropped on the floor. While Joe’s sudden surgery announcement details were not shared in the public eye, many suspect that it might be related to this medical incident that caused him to hit the ground with force. The frail singer tried to play it off like he was okay, but knew that deep down inside, that’s not the case.
