Supermodel Hailey Bieber was seen paying a heartbreaking tribute on the occasion of her and Justin Bieber’s fifth wedding anniversary.

The star spoke about how hard it was to pen this post down as it was a bittersweet celebration since it was also the same date as her late friend and fashion designer Virgil Abloh’s birthday. He would have been 44 today, she explained.

The 27-year-old model shared how today was the day she walked down the aisle with the man she fell in love with at first sight. The gown she wore was designed by Virgil and that is what brought tears to her eyes.

She referred to her wish as a tribute to Abloh and sent out a small prayer for him and requested fans to do the same.

The supermodel also recollected some memories about how her gown was designed to absolute perfection and every detailing was customized. The amount of time, love, and effort that the designer and his team spent on her attire was so special.

Now when she looks back and thinks about all that happened, she finds it surreal that he’s no longer with her in this world.

The 41-year-old designer died in November 2021 after a battle with cancer. Therefore, she took to social media to thank him for all his efforts and for being a great friend that she truly misses.
