Jennifer Lopez is reflecting on her tough time in her life more than a year after she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
The Jenny From the Block celeb was seen opening up about her divorce in a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning while discussing her role in the buzzy movie musical ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’- which is all set to hit the theaters on October 10.
The movie wrapped up production about two months before Lopez filed for divorce from her former husband Ben Affleck in August of 2024.
When asked about how she dealt with all of this turmoil in her personal life around the time she was filming this movie, Lopez laughed while she responded. ‘Barely, it was tough but a blessing in disguise’- she mentioned. She said that this time really shaped her into being the person that she is right now.
‘It was the best of the worst times,’ she added. Every moment on set, and every moment I was doing this role, I was incredibly happy. And then back home, it was not great. It was like, ‘Oh, how do I reconcile this?’- she continued.
‘But you get through it. Honestly, I have to say, it was the best thing that ever happened to me, and it changed me for the good and helped me grow in a way that I needed to become self-aware. And because of that, I am a different person’- she revealed.
