A young child was killed at the hands of her own teacher.
The victim was an 8-year-old female from elementary school who was reportedly stabbed to death in South Korea, as confirmed by several news reports citing police.
The cops rushed to the school after getting a distress call for help from the city of Daejeon on February 10 where they found the child and female teacher. The victim was covered in stab wounds as per the reports published by Reuters and Yonhap News Agency.
The girl was stabbed in her neck and arm and rushed to a nearby local hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival by the medical team.
The local hospital described the brutality done by the 40-year-old suspect as unexplainable and heartbreaking. Sources shared how the child was reported missing after she didn’t attend her art class which was said to be an after-school activity.
The teacher was being treated at the hospital and allegedly admitted to the stabbing while talking to the cops as per the local media outlet Yonhap. No other reasons were shared including the reason for her brutal actions as the family demands justice.
