Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham have broken their silence after their $3m wedding.
The couple got married in a lavish ceremony at Nicola’s family home in Florida, and the lovebirds kept their mouth shut about their wedding.
But on Thursday, the actress took to Instagram and said that she and her new husband Brooklyn couldn’t hide their ‘devastation’ amid the happiness of their union.
Nicola spoke about her sadness over the current crisis in Ukraine and shared how she hoped her wedding day could do some good for the country.
The Transformer actress asked her family and famous friends to donate to the crisis in lieu of sending her and Brooklyn wedding gifts in a bit to raise funds for people fleeing from the war.
“My dad spoke about this in his speech at our wedding… Me and Brooklyn are devastated about what is going on in Ukraine and have asked for donations to CareOrg in lieu of wedding gifts,” she wrote in an emotional post on Instagram.
“Anything helps.”
Since their wedding took place, the couple have been continuing their celebrations, including a lunch with Nicola’s best friend Angela, her stylist Leslie Fremar, and PR Alex Shack.
The actress took to Instagram Stories and shared a series of photos in which she appeared to be wearing an upgraded engagement ring on her left ring finger.
“My queens. My crew. My idols. I am so lucky to have you girls by my side. @Theduchess1227, @alexshack, @lesliefremar,” she wrote as the photo shows the three of them posing with flowers.
Another photo shows Nicola showing off her sunburn and a huge diamond ring on her ring finger.
