Winnie The Pooh is undoubtedly one of the popular childhood favorites when it comes to storybooks and cartoons.

However, what if we told you that the innocent appearing yellow bear will never be the same again? Yes, it’s a little shocking to some but now, there’s a gruesome thriller that’s all set for release on the big screens and it features this adorable little character.

It was revealed at the start of this week how the famous children’s storybook character was swapping his giant jar full of honey for a baseball ball.

And that meant viewers were no longer going to see a happy-go-lucky character. Instead, they were going to see plenty of gruesome and disturbing scenes, more like a scary Halloween-themed affair. As it is, the trailer is daunting to look at at first glimpse so no surprises there.

While the cartoon-themed character was famous for being so friendly with his pal piglet, the movie is bringing a sick and twisted ordeal in front of the world.

Both Pooh and Piglet unite again but this time around, they’re on a murder spree to kill people and spread a wave of terror. Yikes, how’s that for a scary affair?

The title is Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and it’s definitely not recommended for younger audiences, as explained by critics.

Seeing the beloved children’s characters get reimagined has many people in shock as to what in the world is going on. Even the way the director revealed how the characters start to go on a rampage really destroys the beautiful childhood memories one would have related to them.

The film’s lead actors are having a hard time sleeping at night knowing that they’re part of this bloody and gruesome film. And so far, the response by the public is also not too great as some think it’s obnoxious to see moviemakers play with people’s sentiments.
