Jada Pinkett Smith says she and her husband Will Smith have been separated for the past seven years.

 

The couple is believed to be still figuring things out, the star mentioned to People magazine during a new bombshell interview that was published on Wednesday. 

The pair is reportedly trying to do some heavy-duty work, adding how they still have a deep love for one another and a lot of respect. But it might seem unlikely that they are anywhere close in terms of getting back together. 

The news is a huge shocker for fans and followers of the couple who had no idea or even the slightest hint about such information. 

Pinkett Smith mentioned how the infamous Oscars slap from the year 2022 was honestly terrifying for her and she first thought it was a part of the script or a skit for the show. And she even mentioned how she would be showing support for the leading star from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

She said that no matter what, she would still be by his side. At the same time, she feels it’s high time that he tries to figure out things on his own. 

The famous actress of The Nutty Professor also spoke to the magazine about how she only realized that the slap and entire incident were genuine when she said her husband walked back to his seat. And admitted that it was real. Therefore, she was dumbfounded. 

When she happened to be alone with her man, she asked him if he was doing alright as this was unlike him. Acting this way for a joke about her alopecia is not the kind of reaction she expected from a distance, the actress mentioned.
