They say a mother knows best but this next story has left some people in a state of absolute shock and denial.

Think along the lines of a mom who has chosen esthetics over her baby’s well-being, just because she is not happy with the way her child appears.

The mother is being slammed online for opting for a sensitive laser treatment to remove her baby boy’s birthmark and as you can imagine, people are not happy.

The mother named Brooke reportedly shared the story of her little child on social media and the response she got from the general public regarding her baby was appalling.

Some people reportedly went as far as referring to her as a mother who had zero shame or remorse and would put her child’s safety and health and risk.

But the real thing that makes Brooke upset is when people dubbed her a child abuser which she says was totally uncalled for. ‘This is beyond disgusting, why would I abuse my own baby son”- she adds.

The mother of two says she has documented her relationship with her child for a while now and that includes her son Kingsley’s journey from birth until now.

And the birthmark that he has is a port wine stain and the only way it can remove is through a laser which doctors deem to be safe. “I would not choose or opt for laser myself, the doctors are the ones who told me to go ahead with it”- she adds.

While some people were seen backing up the mother, others were just convinced that this was not okay behavior. They felt the child should be given the chance to get older and with his consent, he should be allowed to make the decision at 18 if he’d like to remove it or not. What do you think?
