Tragic reports have confirmed horrifying scenes that arose after a young girl became engulfed in flames on her own birthday.

According to reports from local media outlets, the shocking moment was caught on camera where she is seen holding her balloons in one hand and a birthday cake adorned with candles in the other.

The birthday balloon ended up exploding in her face after it floated over the candles on the cake, and it left her with some serious burns.

Giang Pham, who hails from Vietnam, explained how her 33rd birthday took place on February 14 when the hydrogen balloon in her hand exploded on her.

Footage showed her holding the balloon in one hand and a sign that read happy birthday in the other.

She tried hard to balance but then all of a sudden, the movement led to the balloon catching fire after getting into contact with the candles.

Pham is witnessed smiling before it blows up on her face and sends a giant fireball hitting her right arm too.

Her friends had the most shocked gasps and could be heard in the background screaming and yelling for help, praying she was okay.

The incident was shared on Instagram and it didn’t take long before going viral.

Despite the pain, she told her followers not to worry as she had a second chance at life. Her vision was thankfully not affected but will face months of recovery.
