When you think of Paris Fashion Week, you think of elegance, beauty, and refinement but Balenciaga transformed Paris Fashion Week into a s**t tip, with models trudging through the muck like unimpressed dog walkers.

Although the fashion business is known for its quirky ideas, many visitors had trouble understanding the exhibition’s mud-filled setting. “Fashion is just a p***take at this point”, one viewer said on TikTok.

“I don’t understand fashion”, one person commented, while another added on Twitter that “Balenciaga is a social experiment that has gone on for way too long.”

But do these individuals simply not understand?

The mud, according to fashion analyst Osama Chabbi, was the greatest part. He stated: “The dirt is my favorite aspect of today’s Balenciaga show.

“Models walk across the filthy pit with mud covered dresses, platforms, and outerwear. “Maybe luxury isn’t as valuable as we want to believe it is? It is vulnerable to pain, just like everything else around us.”

Kanye made his catwalk modeling debut in and among the muck. The musician started the performance by stumbling through the s***e while wearing a huge padded coat, a low-profile cap, and an elevated hood. The 45-year-old was completely covered in black clothing, including his beard.

The company’s creative director, Demna Gvasalia, explained in a statement released to coincide with the show that: “Fashion individualism is reduced to phony trends set by a post in the stories of a current celebrity. In a perfect world, fashion wouldn’t need to sell itself to anyone; let’s just let everyone be themselves.”

Demna won’t be giving any explanations as to what it all means; in the end, you either enjoy it or you don’t.
