“Am I In The Wrong For Bringing My BABY To A Child-Free Wedding Ceremony?”

One mother claims to be feeling awfully guilty today as she opted to take her own kids to her friend’s wedding. But that did not go down too well with the host who felt it was indeed one of their most selfish acts of them.

The bride and groom had specifically mentioned how they were not keen on seeing any children at the event. They called it an all-adults event any interference from the younger lot. But they were surely let in or surprise.

The bride and groom were clearly not happy to see her with her plus one guest. When they made it very clear in the invite that this was not going to be accepted.

But more than that, many other attendees found this to be super unfair because they just couldn’t understand how the rules were flexible for one and not the other.

They blasted the hosts for being lenient and allowing just this one mother to arrive with her child. Moreover, the child was not young and as one can imagine, really created a ruckus online.

Therefore, the mother felt awfully guilty over the ordeal but that was not enough to keep the hosts from shaming her publicly.

“It’s a child-free invite and that does not mean you get to bring whoever you want, as per your liking”- explained one netizen on the group,

And just like that, so many others continued to agree that this was not alright because rules are rules, and if you want to accept them, then great. But if not, then you can always excuse yourself and walk away. But there is no room for breaking rules.
