Ariana Grande’s estranged husband is reportedly devastated by their split and the singer’s decision to get a divorce.

It has been revealed that the relationship between the pop singer and her 27-year-old real estate agent husband Dalton Gomez has come to an end with Ariana determined to “move forward.”

A source now spoke to Us Weekly and confirmed that Gomez still hopes the pair will reconcile and get back together to continue their “fairy tale” love story.

“Dalton has been devastated by it. A separation is not what he wanted. He wanted the fairy tale, happy ending, and it’s not looking that way,” the insider said.

“Dalton is really hoping to make things work with Ariana. Despite the rocky patches they’ve been through, he isn’t ready to give up on their marriage.

“He saw himself spending the rest of his life with Ariana and will do anything to get past this.”

The news comes shortly after the publication revealed that the Rain on Me hitmaker is determined to “move forward” from her failed relationship.

“As sad as it is, the consensus on both sides is that this is ultimately for the best. Ariana and Dalton are two very different people,” an insider said while suggesting the couple amicably decided to part ways.

Over the weekend, Ariana first sparked divorce rumors after being pictured at Wimbledon without her wedding ring.

Since the news of the rift between her and Gomez emerged, the singer also deleted all of her wedding photos from her social media.

“Ariana and Dalton have been having some issues for months now,” one source claimed.

“They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn’t resolve, and the distance did not help.”
