Angus Cloud shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram before he was pronounced dead at his home in Oakland.
Best known for his role in HBO’s Euphoria, the 25-year-old died after being found unresponsive at their family home.
According to NBC News, emergency services were called to the property at 11:30 am but the actor was determined to be dead.
In a heartbreaking statement to TMZ, Cloud’s grieving family confirmed the news. “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” the statement continued.
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
The bereaved family concluded: “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
One of Cloud’s final Instagram posts was shared on July 14 and it was a photo of his father smiling while wearing a red hoodie and red sweats.
“Miss u breh,” the caption read.
His final post came on July 18, where he revealed a set of white gold grills on his teeth for the company Grantz Grillz.
The actor had credits in two movies, The Line and North Hollywood. He also appeared in music videos for artists including Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G.
