US President Donald Trump has mocked Greta Thunberg after she was detained and deported by soldiers in Israel during the Global Sumud Flotilla initiative.
Thunberg was greeted by fans when she arrived in Greece, right after her deportation, but Trump said she should instead be seeing a doctor.
The Global Sumud Flotilla aimed to deliver humanitarian aid and building materials while challenging Israel’s long-standing naval blockade.
The flotilla was informed by the Israeli Defense Forces to redirect aid to Ashdod for security inspection, but Thunberg and organizers ended up refusing and further insisted that they would be heading towards Gaza directly.
When questioned about her deportation, President Trump dismissed Thunberg as a major troublemaker and said she needed to stay there. ‘You mean she’s no longer into the environment and now she’s doing this?’- he laughed.
The president then reignited another feud by claiming she had some serious anger issues and needed to take anger management classes to better combat this issue. ‘She needs help and needs to see a doctor,’ he concluded, while bashing her as crazy and so angry all the time.
Since then, she’s hit out at Trump for making the same old remarks as before and referred to him as an angry old man who should seek therapy for being so bitter.
